Step 1

Training Guidelines

The key to being successful in the Run/Walk Club is having a plan. Our guidelines follow a strict regiment of:

  • Resting & Stretching

  • Cross Training

  • Gradual Endurance Building 

  • Group Training 

  • Running/Walking 

Step 2

Warm-ups & Strengthing

Warm-ups  and stretching are very important to running/walking. Warm-ups gently prepare the body for exercises by gradually increasing the heart rate and circulation; this loosens the joints and increases blood flow to the muscles. Stretching the muscles prepares them for physical activity and prevents injuries.

Step 3


Our club provides the easiest plans and workouts to get any beginner in the best shape. We gently introduce steps to getting your body moving, starting with alternating between walking and running small distances. Then the programs slowly builds up over time to get you to your running/walking goals - whether it be 30 mins without stoping or running in your favorite marathon.
